So, I've been reading Muldoon's "90 Instant Messages to Tom Moore" (in _Horse Latitudes_) and have been finding it pretty inspiring. I took a poetry translation workshop with Muldoon a few years ago, and have decided to play a little, here. Many of the themes come from words or ideas he obsessed over in the workshop ("pupil," "iris," "caper"), or themes in his work that I find cool (eels, music lyrics) and some are just totally fucking random. Because that's how I roll.

They're also in the same meter as "90 IM's", 5-7-5.
